Late is better than never, and it’s never too late. Even if the line is long, and you missed a chance to join earlier.

If the best time to start was yesterday, the second best time is today.

Being patient is much easier than it looks. 

Some lines don’t need you to be present, so it’s kind of like laundry. It doesn’t take an hour to do laundry, it takes five minutes. Even if you’re not sure if it’s worth it, it’s worth a try.

It also takes five minutes to buy a good stock (albeit at a higher price), get in line for a good restaurant, or submit an application for something important that might be years out.
