2. One practitioner I follow, relatively closely, is Vin Verma. Vin documents a lot of his practice at Futureland.
3. For all of the priorities there’ll never be time for, there’s practice. I love watching Paul Ford and Rich Ziade continue their podcast practice at their new company, Aboard. They also do a separate podcast for their advising practice. The podcast practice they started at their previous company, Postlight, has matured in a really great way.
4. If you want to start practicing, just do it today, even if it’s just for a few seconds. It still counts. Build your muscle and intention for starting, and breathing life back into the practice. Try not to get too precious about your practice; treat it like eating or using the bathroom.
5. Don’t take your practice too lax, either. You will play like you practice. Showing up is better than not showing up, and showing up prepared—with a clear head, without distraction, with an intention—is better than just showing up.
6. Practice at the right level for you.
