AI has flipped the saying, “Easier said than done,” on its head. Nowadays, many things are easier done than said. For example, if you’re starting a business, you can ask Claude Code, Lovable, or another prototyping solution to generate an app pretty quickly. A lot of people do.
So, what should you actually build? What problems need to be solved? Who needs your help? How can you reach them? How can you build trust with them?
Or, who can you approach for advice? What help do you need?
Of course, these are all questions that an AI could probably help you start to answer. However, at some point, you need to talk to a person, and actually having the conversation isn’t as easy as generating another answer or another solution.
That’s just one example. If you’re working on a new feature for an app, you can easily vibe code it—but going through it and being able to explain it is much more difficult. If you’re preparing an analysis, sure, an agent could build a document or deck for you, so long as you make sure you know what you’re putting into it and how it came to the conclusions.
When people ask for your thought process, you need to be able to explain clearly and precisely. As a form of double checking, verification, or clarification, you may even decide to manually do the work that AI did, just to be able to clearly speak to it. (I realize how ludicrous that sounds!)
Simply saying something is simple enough. Saying words that make sense, and generate or contribute to a constructive and energizing discussion, is much more difficult. Easier done than said.
