A sense of immediacy means doing something today, now.
Not tomorrow, the day after, or someday. Not putting it on a to-do list or into a task management system. Not until you feel ready or confident. Today, now.
Backlogs don’t exist. You can delete them. Clear your mind as well.
Spontaneity is a driving force. Done is the engine of more.
Later means never. So when you are preoccupied, this approach also needs you to mentally other possibilities go and focus on what’s in front of you. That’s what life needs from you today, now.
Immediacy is a choice and a mindset. It’s really useful for you if you’re stuck in a rut.
Even in a schedule full of commitments—where, granted, you may excuse yourself for having limited room to apply immediacy—you may do so by looking for openings, like showing up early or leaving late.
Somehow, some way. Today, now.
