My latest for Figma is up, “How to plug in and power up your designer-developer handoff with Figma and Jira.”
In order to make this post, my team and I interviewed several customers over phone and email, and drew five insights on how product development teams can work better together:
- Understand each other with a high-fidelity prototype
- Present your work, even while it’s in progress
- Align on different sources for different information
- Save on the toggle tax
- Lean on templates
This is my new standard for what a post to lead thinking should be, even if it’s accompanying a launch (in this case, the Figma for Jira app). We also bet heavily on the art direction for the post, thanks to Jaedoo Lee for the art.
