Either way, it’s gonna be difficult…

So you might as well do what you want to do, and succeed at what you want to succeed at.

You may think that there are two paths; an easier one (should) and a tougher one (must).

In reality though, there’s no such thing as an actual easier option. Both are gonna be tough.

The only worse feeling than failing at what you want to succeed at is failing at something you don’t even care about. Trust me, I’ve been there. It sucks.

The only benefit I got out of it: Well, if I’m gonna try and fail, I might as well try and fail at what I actually want to get good at.

The saying goes, often attributed to Confucius (without clear proof), “We have two lives, and the second begins when we realize we only have one.” Or another one, mis-attributed to author Mark Twain, “The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.”
