Every day you don’t release your work is another day people have to go without it. You think that doesn’t matter. It does, to you and to the people receiving it.
It’s important to remember this when tomorrow comes calling. It nags at you, then promises to provide you with more experience, and a fuller perspective.
“Today is the dumbest you’ll ever be,” tomorrow says. “Don’t publish it just yet. Wait until I get here, and you might get an ever better idea.” It’s possible, it’s just not probable or useful.
Your friends, readers, and community can only benefit from your work if you release it. They will never see it if you always wait for tomorrow. One of those tomorrows will need to become today.
The day you release something new, you also make the world a better place.
