Faiz and I worked together at Markham Public Library and he was such a bright light. Kind, funny, generous. He was so skilled at engaging with young people, and I’ll never forget the time he dressed up as a Storm Trooper to deliver a Star Wars themed storytime with me. Very sad to hear of his passing, the world is definitely a little less bright without him in it.
